Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP seeks a Senior Litigation Paralegal for its Intellectual Property Practice group in Washington, D.C. The role reports to the Manager of Legal Practice Support and focuses on case management and trial support with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

The position requires 5–7 years of litigation paralegal experience, ITC and patent filing familiarity, and strong eFiling and citation skills. The firm offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5–7 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with ITC matters and ITC cases preferred.
• Experience with PTAB and Federal Circuit preferred.
• Familiarity with patent terminology and citations.
• Knowledge of e-filing in US District Courts nationwide.
• MS Office proficiency; familiarity with Case Notebook, Relativity, Sanctions desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document and database maintenance, including managing e data collections and searches; coordinate with vendors and IT groups.
• Review and prepare documents, reports and correspondence.
• Assist with discovery requests and productions, including Bates labeling and production logs.
• Draft, proof, edit, and file court filings (state and federal) using eFile systems.
• Knowledge of subpoena preparation and service of process.
• Cite-checking and bluebooking briefs and memoranda.
• Create tables of authority and tables of contents for filings.
• Track and calendar case-related dates; coordinate with Calendaring Department.
• Assist with witness preparation and deposition/trial binders; manage exhibits.
• Assemble and track deposition, hearing and trial exhibits.
