Job summary

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm, seeks a Senior Litigation Paralegal for its Intellectual Property Practice in Washington, DC, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule. The role supports attorneys and trial teams with document management, discovery, and trial prep.

You will handle complex e-filing, cite-checking, and coordination of deposition exhibits, ensuring timely case management and calendar integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5–7 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with ITC cases; PTAB and Federal Circuit preferred.
• Experience with USPTO Patent Center and accessing prosecution histories.
• Familiarity with patent terminology and citations.
• Experience with e-filing in US District Courts nationwide.
• Management of trial preparation, logistics, and calendars.
• Strong MS Office and litigation support tools knowledge (Case Notebook, Relativity).

Responsibilities

• Document and manage electronic data collections from clients and external sources.
• Assist with discovery requests and productions, including Bates labeling and production logs.
• Draft, proof, edit, and file court filings (state and federal) using eFile systems.
• Coordinate witness preparation and deposition/trial binders and exhibits.
• Cite-checking and Bluebooking briefs and memoranda.
• Track and communicate case deadlines with the Calendaring Department.
