Entegris, Inc. seeks a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel to serve as a principal advisor on IP strategy, guiding critical decisions for long-term innovation and competitive positioning.

The role leads global IP strategies and partners with executive leadership, R&D, and business units to protect and maximize IP value across the enterprise. You will oversee invention harvesting, filing, prosecution, and portfolio optimization, while directing outside counsel and internal teams to ensure IP

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience developing and leading IP strategy for technology-driven organizations.
• Strong patent portfolio management, licensing, FTO analyses, IP transactions, and disputes.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications; directing agents.
• Experience negotiating IP terms in joint development, licensing, and technology transfer.

Responsabilités

• Advise executive leadership on IP strategy, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
• Develop enterprise-wide IP strategies to support long-term growth and differentiation.
• Lead patent, trade secret, licensing, and dispute-related matters across the company.
• Oversee invention harvesting, filing strategy, drafting, prosecution, and portfolio pruning.
• Coordinate with legal, business, engineering, and R&D teams to embed IP into planning.
• Supervise patent agents, technical experts, and outside counsel for global patent work.
• Lead freedom‑to‑operate and landscape analyses and provide clear recommendations.
• Represent Entegris in external engagements with customers, universities, and industry groups.
