Entegris, Inc. in Aurora, IL is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel to lead global IP strategy and protect the company’s innovations. You will partner with executive leadership, R&D, and business units to align IP with technology investments and long-term growth.

As a senior IP leader, you will oversee invention harvesting, patent filing, licensing, and disputes, while guiding global portfolio optimization and cross-border transactions.

Competenze

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Registered Patent Attorney status strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related field preferred.

• Serve as principal advisor to executive leadership on IP strategy and portfolio optimization.
• Develop and lead enterprise IP strategies supporting growth and differentiation.
• Architect approaches to complex IP matters with incomplete information and high impact.
• Lead patent, trade secret, licensing, and technology transfer matters across the company.
• Drive IP strategy for emerging technologies and future initiatives.
• Anticipate regulatory and competitive developments affecting IP position.
• Partner with legal, business, engineering and R&D to integrate IP in planning.
• Serve as IP partner to assigned business units in roadmap and product reviews.
• Lead invention harvesting, filing strategy, drafting, and portfolio pruning.
• Direct patent agents and outside counsel for U.S. and international matters.
• Lead FTO, patentability, validity, clearance, and competitive landscape analyses.
• Structure and negotiate IP provisions in joint development and licensing agreements.
• Support disputes, enforcement, and trade secret protection.
• Commission landscape analyses and train inventors on IP risk awareness.
• Represent Entegris in external engagements with customers, partners and academia.
