Job summary

Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel to serve as a strategic IP advisor. You will guide global IP strategy, align it with business objectives, and partner with executives, R&D, and external stakeholders to protect and maximize the value of Entegris’ intellectual assets.

You will lead critical patent and licensing matters, drive emerging technology strategies, and ensure IP considerations are embedded in strategic planning and product development.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Registered Patent Attorney status strongly preferred.
• Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal advisor to executive leadership on IP strategy, risk management, and portfolio optimization for critical business units.
• Develop and lead enterprise-wide IP strategies supporting long-term growth and differentiation.
• Architect strategies for complex IP matters where information is incomplete and risks are high.
• Lead patent, trade secret, licensing, tech transfer, and dispute-related matters across the company.
• Drive IP strategy for emerging technologies and future initiatives.
• Anticipate regulatory and competitive developments impacting IP and recommend actions.
• Partner with legal, business, engineering, and R&D to integrate IP considerations into strategic planning.
• Lead invention harvesting, filing strategy, drafting, prosecution, and portfolio pruning.
