Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Agile Software Engineer to drive greenfield IoT projects with cloud-native solutions and 24/7 availability. You will implement serverless Azure architectures, craft frontend and backend using TypeScript, React, and NestJS, and build robust APIs for diverse integrations.

The role requires multi-language experience, cloud deployment, automation, paired programming, and willingness to travel quarterly within the US. Sponsorship is not provided for US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 5 years of software development experience with exposure to multiple languages (eg. TypeScript, C#, HTML, XAML, PowerShell, SQL, Swift).
• Experience deploying software on a major cloud native platform (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Comfortable using automation for development, testing, and deployment of software products.
• Enjoys paired programming and understands where it helps.
• Shipped at least one commercially used software product.
• Willing to travel to St. Louis or Atlanta up to 1 week per quarter.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions with 24/7 availability using IaC.
• Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability and cost.
• Build frontend and backend using React and NestJS with TypeScript.
• Create automated unit and behavioral tests to ensure quality.
• Implement production code daily with security and rollback strategies.
• Develop APIs and protocols for integration with websites, partners, apps and IoT devices.
