Job summary

Copeland in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead greenfield IoT development. You will design cloud-native solutions with IaC, use Azure serverless, and build applications with TypeScript, React, and NestJS.

You will write automated tests, ensure security and reliability, develop APIs for web, mobile, and IoT integrations, and participate in on-call support. Travel to St. Louis or Atlanta up to one week per quarter is required.

Qualifications

Five years’ experience in software development across multiple languages (eg TypeScript, C#, HTML).
Experience deploying software on a major cloud native platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Ability to translate business requirements into design and communicate with teams.
Shipped at least one commercially used software product.
Willingness to travel to St. Louis or Atlanta up to 1 week per quarter.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud-native solutions with IaC for scalable deployments.
Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability and cost.
Build apps with TypeScript, React frontend and NestJS backend.
Create automated unit and behavioral tests for reliability and quality.
Develop APIs for integration with websites, partners, mobile apps and IoT devices.
Develop production code daily with secure rollback mechanisms.
