Job summary

Rise Technical in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior TypeScript Engineer to own mission-critical control software end to end on a scalable AI-forward IoT and energy platform. The role combines hands-on development with system leadership across front-end dashboards, time-series visualizations, and Node microservices, all within ISO 27001 compliant workflows.

You will architect web core components, develop contract-first Node services with NestJS or Fastify, and own features end-to-end while

Qualifications

• Experience building production software with strong TypeScript.
• Deep React experience including hooks and rendering behavior.
• Real Node service experience including API and data modeling.
• Comfort handling real-time data and high-frequency telemetry.
• Hands-on AI tool usage with strong automated testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect web core components and data-dense charting systems.
• Develop contract-first Node services using NestJS or Fastify.
• Own features end-to-end across services, UI, and test suites.
• Maintain strict peer review and change management standards.
