Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Agile Engineer - Software to drive greenfield IoT cloud-native development using TypeScript, React, NestJS, and Azure serverless platforms.

The role emphasizes IaC, automated testing, and on-call support across teams; travel to St. Louis or Atlanta may occur up to one week per quarter. Candidates must be US-authorized and eligible to work without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in software development with exposure to multiple languages (TypeScript, C#, HTML, XAML, PowerShell, SQL, Swift).
• Experience deploying software on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Comfortable using automation for development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions with IaC and 24/7 availability.
• Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability and cost.
• Build frontend with React and backend with NestJS for robust apps.
• Create automated unit and behavioral tests for reliability and quality.
• Implement production code daily with secure rollback mechanisms.
• Develop APIs/protocols for integration with websites, partners, apps, and IoT devices.
