Job summary

ANA, headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, seeks a Senior Cloud/IoT Applications Engineer for an onsite role. You will design, build, and maintain cloud and telematics software powering our distributed energy fleet management platform within an Agile team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software development focused on cloud applications, with proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, and AWS services. The position reports to the Director of Software Development and offers a fully onsite

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of software development experience with cloud application engineering.
Proficient with Docker, Python, TypeScript and React for cloud and application development.
Proficient with AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IoT/Core, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Proficient designing and consuming RESTful and/or event-driven APIs.
Proficient with data pipelines and asynchronous processing patterns.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Director of Software Development, Product Management, Customer Support, and customers to understand requirements and feedback for cloud/IoT software.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Cloud/IoT software team.
Collaborate to ensure smooth integration between edge devices and cloud services.
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines enabling automated testing, builds, and deployments.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within an Agile team.
