Job summary

CarGurus is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to drive Inventory Management opportunities with dealerships, focusing on PriceVantage and StockVantage adoption. You will work with Account Executives and Product leaders to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and close qualified deals.

You will travel for dealer meetings, industry events, and strategic opportunities, building credibility with dealer principals and GM/Used Car Managers while hitting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or sales leadership experience.
• 3+ years of automotive industry experience required.
• Direct dealership retail experience is preferred (used vehicle operations, inventory management, pricing).
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Inventory Management opportunities across dealer portfolios.
• Lead discovery conversations with dealer principals and general managers.
• Deliver product demonstrations linking Inventory Management to dealer challenges and goals.
• Own the specialist portion of the sales cycle from discovery to closing.
• Maintain strong pipeline discipline and forecasting in Salesforce.
