Job summary

CarGurus in Boston is seeking a customer-obsessed, data-driven Product Manager to lead the Dealer product team. You will own the strategy for dealer merchandising and inventory distribution, working with engineering, design, analytics, data science, GTM, and consumer product partners to deliver high-quality listings across CarGurus and third-party channels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, workflow, marketplace or inventory products.
• Experience with automotive retail, dealer inventory management, or marketplace syndication is a plus.
• Experience with APIs, third-party integrations, white-label partnerships, and data feeds.
• Strong quantitative skills; ability to map metrics to business outcomes.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance customer value, technical complexity, and speed.

Responsibilities

• Own the dealer merchandising and syndication strategy and roadmap.
• Engage with auto dealers to understand workflows and translate into requirements.
• Define complete, high-quality listings and data flow with minimal manual entry.
• Partner with Consumer Product teams to align listings with shopper experience.
• Lead end-to-end product development from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics and Data Science teams.
• Define success metrics and evaluate releases using data and dealer feedback.
• Identify AI opportunities to streamline dealer operations and improve efficiency.
• Support GTM with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.
