Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician to support a large, complex program within SAFe. You will manage software licenses, hardware assets, BOMs, and inventory data across distributed nodes while collaborating with engineers, analytics, and program teams.

The role emphasizes procurement lifecycle management, warranties, and timely delivery, with local travel within the region and potential CONUS assignments. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
• At least 8 years of experience managing IT hardware and software.
• At least 5 years of experience handling purchase requisitions.
• At least 3 years of experience with Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, including formulas.
• Experience researching parts and configurations based on engineering specs.
• Experience with hardware/software warranties, maintenance, and support.
• Experience with software licensing models (subscriptions/term licenses).
• Experience creating RMAs using prior purchase data.

Responsibilities

• Procure software licenses and hardware assets through full lifecycle from requisition to delivery and closeout.
• Track hardware warranties and software maintenance to prevent lapses.
• Monitor multiple ticket queues and respond within established timelines.
• Support multiple Technical Task Orders and update Bills of Material.
• Coordinate material procurement with buyers and material planners to prioritize urgent requests.
• Maintain hardware inventory reports and databases.
