Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician to support a large, complex SAFe program within the Intel Sector’s CABA. You will manage hardware, software, and service procurements, track BOMs, warranties, and licenses, and coordinate with engineers, buyers, and material planners to ensure timely delivery across distributed nodes.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, strong organization, and the ability to travel regionally and nationally to inventories and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of related experience in Logistics, Quality Control, Data Management, or Hardware/Software Management.
• At least 8 years of experience managing IT hardware, and software.
• At least 5 years of experience handling purchase requisitions.
• At least 3 years of experience with Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, including formulas.
• Experience researching parts and technical configurations based on engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement of software licenses and hardware assets throughout the full procurement lifecycle from requisition through delivery and closeout.
• Track hardware warranties and software maintenance periods to prevent lapses in coverage or support.
• Monitor multiple ticket queues and respond to requests within established timelines.
• Update Bills of Material and coordinate with program team members to streamline material procurement.
• Track material movement through the procurement process and coordinate timely delivery.
