Job summary

Leidos in the United States seeks a Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician to manage procurement of hardware, software and services for a large, complex system within the SAFe framework. The role focuses on tracking BOMs, warranties, and program material status.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, System Test, Engineering, and buyers to ensure timely delivery, maintain inventory data, and support material movements across distributed nodes nationwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years in Logistics, Quality Control, Data Management, or Hardware/Software Management.
8+ years IT hardware/software management experience.
5+ years handling purchase requisitions.
3+ years Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
Experience with warranties, maintenance, and quotes.

Responsibilities

Procure software licenses and hardware assets across the full lifecycle.
Track warranties and maintenance periods to prevent lapse in coverage.
Monitor ticket queues and respond within established timelines.
Support multiple Technical Task Orders and update Bills of Materials.
Coordinate material movement and prioritize urgent requests with buyers and planners.
Maintain hardware inventory reports and databases.
