Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician to support a large, complex program in the SAFe framework. You will manage hardware, software, and services procurements across distributed nodes, maintaining documentation and liaising with engineers and buyers.

The role emphasizes end-to-end procurement lifecycle, BOM management, warranties, and timely delivery, with US travel and a TS/SCI with poly requirement.

Qualifications

• BA degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of relevant experience.
• At least 8 years of experience managing IT hardware and software.
• At least 5 years of experience handling purchase requisitions.
• At least 3 years of experience with Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, including formulas.
• Experience researching parts and configurations based on engineering specs.
• Experience working with engineers, material planners, and buyers to develop, request, and review quotes.
• Experience with hardware/software warranties, maintenance, and support.
• Experience with software licensing models, including subscriptions and term licenses.
• Experience researching and creating RMAs using purchase information.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement of software licenses and hardware assets across the full lifecycle.
• Track hardware warranties and software maintenance periods to prevent lapses.
• Monitor ticket queues and respond within timelines.
• Support multiple Technical Task Orders and update Bills of Material.
• Coordinate material procurement with program team members.
• Track material movement and resolve procurement issues.
• Maintain hardware inventory reports and databases.
