Job summary

Leidos in the United States is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician to manage software licenses, hardware assets, and procurement across a large, distributed system within SAFe.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure Teams, System Test, and Software Engineers to ensure timely delivery, accurate BOMs, and up-to-date inventory reports; must have TS/SCI with Polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 12+ years in Logistics, Quality, Data or Hardware/Software mgmt.
• 8+ years managing IT hardware and software.
• 5+ years handling purchase requisitions.
• 3+ years with Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Strong Excel skills and BOM/quoting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of software licenses and hardware assets across the full lifecycle.
• Track hardware warranties and software maintenance to avoid lapses.
• Monitor ticket queues and respond within established timelines.
• Support multiple Technical Task Orders and update Bills of Material.
• Coordinate with buyers and material planners to prioritize urgent requests.
• Maintain hardware inventory reports and databases.
