Job summary

Amcor is seeking a senior Inventory and Cost Accounting leader to join the Rigid Packaging Shared Services team in North America. You will manage resin inventory, PPV, and cost standards while partnering with procurement and finance to forecast profitability.

The role requires 10–15+ years in inventory accounting within a large manufacturer, with strong SAP ERP and MS Excel skills and experience in a public company setting. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• 10–15+ years of inventory/cost accounting in a large, multi-location manufacturer with US public company experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; proficient with SAP ERP and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARP North America shared service inventory function across three BUs and 25+ plants.
• Provide financial and economic advice on inventory matters; analyze resin pricing and PPV.
• Oversee cost standards, budgeting, and annual planning for resin/inventory.
• Support audits, month-end close, and internal controls; manage FX risk with Group Treasury.
• Lead M&A integration activities and cross-functional projects as needed.
