Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in the United States is seeking an experienced Inventory Accounting Leader to oversee resin accounting, PPV, and inventory valuation. You will guide a North America shared service team, collaborate with Procurement and FP&A, and drive process improvements in a complex manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes strong US GAAP knowledge, SAP proficiency, and strategic oversight of inventory costs and working capital forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10-15+ years in inventory/cost accounting within a large, multi-location manufacturer.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP inventory rules and requirements.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems and related analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARP North America inventory shared service function across multiple plants.
• Monitor resin pricing, PPV calculation, and inventory/payables valuation.
• Oversee overhead costing in ending inventory and annual cost standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and FP&A on forecasts and profitability analysis.
• Support internal/external audits and month-end close activities.
• Drive process improvements and lead cross-functional projects.
