Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Senior Inventory Accounting Leader to manage all aspects of inventory accounting across North America. You will oversee resin-related cost accounting, PPV, and inventory valuations, while driving process improvements and coordinating with procurement and commercial finance teams.

The role requires leading a three-person accounting team, ensuring internal controls, and supporting annual budgeting and quarterly close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10-15+ years in inventory/cost accounting in a large, multi-location manufacturer; US Public Company experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP inventory rules.
• Experience with SAP ERP and financial systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARP North America shared service inventory function across three Business Units and 25+ plants.
• Drive process improvements and best practices in inventory accounting and cost management.
• Analyze inventory costs and trends; support working capital and cash flow forecasts.
