Job summary

Amcor Limited in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks an Inventory/Cost Accounting leader to manage resin pass-throughs, PPV, and inventory controls within a multi-plant, multi‑location environment. You will guide a three-person team in implementing best practices and maintaining accurate costing and reporting.

You will partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Group Treasury to forecast costs, analyze profitability, and support working capital. CPA/CMA and US Public Company experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• 10-15+ years of increasing responsibility in inventory/cost accounting in a large, multi-location manufacturer (US Public Company experience preferred).
• Strong general accounting skills including US GAAP inventory rules and requirements.
• Preference for SAP ERP experience; SAP BPC and SAP BO experience beneficial.
• Excellent Excel skills and strong business/financial acumen.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and professional integrity.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<5%).

Responsibilities

• Lead ARP North America shared service inventory function across three Business Units and 25+ plants.
• Drive process improvements and best practices within ARP finance community.
• Provide sound financial analysis to stakeholders on inventory matters.
• Oversee resin PPV, inventory, and payables valuation and review overhead costs in ending inventory.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Business Finance on pricing and profitability analyses.
• Support and account for raw material derivatives with cross-functional teams.
• Lead cost standards development for resin and other materials annually.
• Monitor resin market trends and communicate pricing movements to leadership.
• Manage monthly PPV forecasting and annual budgeting with variance analysis.
• Lead M&A integration activities as needed and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
