Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager II to lead the Inventory Control team, align with client commitments and drive strategy for operational excellence. You will shape processes, manage senior relationships and champion data-driven improvements across the supply chain.

The role requires a strong background in inventory control, logistics leadership and KPI management, with a focus on risk mitigation and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Inventory Control or related field.
• 4 years Inventory Control experience required.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience in large company.
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt. & objective setting experience.
• Staff management & objective setting experience required.
• Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership.
• Knowledge of JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for Inventory Control team.
• Develop key customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and inventory control excellence.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPI per contract.
• Oversee stock accuracy, reporting and risk mitigation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives for supply chain improvements.
