DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager I to provide senior leadership and strategic direction for the Inventory Control team under a major client contract. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence across the client’s assets.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive inventory control and logistics experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4 years of Inventory Control experience.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience in unit pick environment (large company preferred).
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience.
• Staff management & Objective Setting experience.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team to enable and facilitate service deliverables under the client contract.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control management.
• Set the strategic direction for supply chain initiatives revolving around Inventory Control and Inventory Planning.
• Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to inventory control and client assets.
