Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Kentucky seeks an experienced Inventory Control Manager II to lead the inventory control function and drive strategic initiatives. You will manage customer relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with several years in inventory control and logistics, plus strong analytics and leadership skills to optimize assets and processes across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with inventory control experience.
• Several years of experience in logistics and management roles.
• Experience leading inventory control teams and client relationships.
• Familiarity with KPI development and cross-functional leadership.
• Proficiency with JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS and SAP.
• Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for Inventory Control to meet service agreements.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and partnerships for continuous improvement.
• Set strategic direction for supply chain initiatives around Inventory Control and Planning.
• Develop proactive data analysis methods for inventory control and asset management.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs outlined in the contract.
