Job summary
EY is seeking a technically skilled Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, availability, security, performance, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services.
The role serves as an operations-facing engineering resource responsible for load balancing platforms, ingress services, routing and traffic management, DNS integration, certificate services, edge security controls, application onboarding, and infrastructure automation across cloud
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- 5+ years in networking, cloud infrastructure, or application delivery.
- Experience with load balancing, DNS, TLS, and security controls.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Willingness for after-hours support and on-call shifts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee ingress and edge connectivity services' day-to-day operations.
- Monitor health, availability, performance, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot routing, load balancing, DNS, certificates, and delivery issues.
- Coordinate incident response and change management processes.
- Contribute to on-call support and planned maintenance activities.
