Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to manage enterprise ingress and edge connectivity across cloud and virtualized environments. You will own day-to-day operations, monitor health and performance, and coordinate incident responses while driving automation and platform standardization.

The role emphasizes reliable traffic delivery, platform availability, and collaboration with cloud, network, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and delivery issues.
• Participate in on-call support, incident response, and major change coordination.
• Coordinate with cloud, network, firewall, WAF, and vendor teams to resolve cross-platform issues.
• Configure and support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI, and Azure ingress services; maintain health checks and policies.
• Onboard/offboard applications, manage DNS, certificates, and traffic management lifecycle.
• Automate repeatable configuration and maintain IaC with Terraform and Git workflows.
