Job summary

EY is seeking a technically skilled Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, availability, security, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services across cloud and virtualized environments.

This role covers load balancing, DNS, certificate services, edge security controls, automation with Terraform and Git, and cross‑team collaboration across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and operational risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance.
