Job summary

EY seeks an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to manage operational delivery of enterprise ingress and edge services across cloud and virtualized environments. You will help ensure secure, reliable application delivery and scalable platform operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on load balancing, DNS, certificate services, on-call support, and automation using Terraform. A strong background in networking and incident management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and operational risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance activities.
• Configure, administer, and support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI load balancers, and Azure ingress services.
