Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, availability, security and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery services. You will lead work across cloud and on-prem environments, configuring load balancers, DNS, certificates, and edge controls, while partnering with security and vendor teams to ensure reliable traffic delivery and platform resilience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, engineering or cybersecurity.
5+ years in networking, cloud infra, app delivery, ingress or related roles.
Hands-on troubleshooting of DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backends.
Experience with incident, change and problem management in production.
Strong analytical, documentation and cross-team communication skills.
Willingness for scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day administration and ownership of ingress/edge services.
Monitor platform health, availability, performance, capacity and risk.
Troubleshoot DNS, routing, TLS, load balancing and application delivery issues.
Support incident response, major incidents and on-call activities.
Coordinate with cloud, network, firewall, WAF, app and vendor teams to resolve cross-platform issues.
Onboard/offboard, migrate and release enablement for apps, URLs and APIs.
Maintain IaC, runbooks, standards and knowledge content.
