Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Redondo Beach, CA seeks an International Trade Compliance Analyst – Level 4 to lead export controls, ITAR/EAR interpretation, and license activities. You will prepare, submit and obtain government authorizations, and maintain compliance across programs and contracts.

This role requires interacting with law, engineering, and program teams, mentoring junior analysts, and delivering export training while supporting the company’s global missions and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience OR Master’s with 6 years OR PhD with 4 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Experience reviewing contracts, subcontracts, and scope of work.
• Proficiency with export/import trade software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal export/import controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on ITAR/EAR regulations and licensing requirements.
• Prepare and obtain export/import authorizations, permits, and certifications.
• Maintain records and reporting as required by regulations.
• Collaborate across functions to develop compliance strategies and train staff.
