Job summary

Blue Shield of California's Internal Controls Advisory Services team seeks an experienced professional to support internal controls assessments, advisory engagements, and remediation activities. The role reports to the Principal, Internal Controls Advisory Services and collaborates with senior team members to add value and strengthen risk management.

Our hybrid workplace requires in-office presence two days per week, with flexibility based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with 4 years of related experience.
• 3+ years in internal audit, internal controls, risk advisory, compliance or SOX.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, process documentation, and control testing.
• Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and communicate observations.
• Strong organization and detail orientation; can manage multiple assignments.
• Collaborates with team members and business partners in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or progress toward certification preferred.
• Healthcare/health insurance industry experience preferred.
