Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking an Experienced Internal Controls Advisor to support assessments, advisory engagements, and remediation activities within the Internal Controls Advisory Services team. The role emphasizes a systematic approach to evaluating risk and strengthening controls.

In this hybrid role, you will apply risk assessment, control testing, and process documentation to help management achieve objectives and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk advisory, compliance, SOX, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, process documentation, and control testing.
• Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and communicate observations clearly and professionally.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
