Blue Shield of California is seeking an Experienced professional to join the Internal Controls Advisory Services team. The role focuses on providing objective consulting to help management build and maintain an effective system of internal controls, supporting assessments, advisory engagements, and remediation activities.

You will report to the Principal and work with senior team members in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS Diploma with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk advisory, compliance, SOX, or related field.
• Working knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, process documentation, and control testing.
• Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and communicate observations clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and business partners in a hybrid environment.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or progress toward certification preferred.
• Experience in the health insurance/healthcare industry preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support internal controls assessments, advisory engagements, and remediation activities.
• Work under guidance of senior team members on engagements.
