Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP seeks a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to craft thoughtful, engaging internal communications aligned with our culture and strategic priorities. You will collaborate with firm leadership and cross-functional teams to support leadership messages, organizational updates, and employee programs.

The role requires excellent writing, editing, and project management skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion in a fast-paced professional services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a communications, marketing or related role.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and content development skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and distribute clear, engaging internal communications for firmwide and targeted audiences across a variety of platforms.
• Develop executive and leadership communications, including announcements, talking points, presentations and other materials.
• Serve as a trusted communications partner to firm leaders and administrative stakeholders, providing communications counsel and helping plan and execute complex, sensitive or high-profile internal communications.
• Partner with firm leaders, administrative stakeholders and the Marketing and Business Development team to develop communications plans, messaging and supporting materials for firm initiatives.
• Translate complex information, organizational changes and business priorities into accessible communications that help employees understand key messages, actions and impacts.
