Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to craft thoughtful internal communications, partner with senior leaders, and support firmwide initiatives. You will manage projects, edit executive messages, and develop engaging content across channels to inform and align our people with the firm’s culture and goals.

The role requires outstanding writing, strong judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information across multiple offices in a fast-paced professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years in a communications, marketing or related role.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and content development skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to communicate with firm leadership and colleagues across offices.
• Discretion handling confidential or sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and distribute clear internal communications for firmwide and targeted audiences.
• Develop executive and leadership communications including announcements and talking points.
• Partner with leaders to plan and execute complex internal communications.
• Create communications plans, messaging and materials for firm initiatives.
• Translate complex information into accessible messages for employees.
• Use visual storytelling to simplify information and boost engagement.
• Coordinate messaging across departments to ensure consistency and timeliness.
• Produce content that raises awareness of firm initiatives and priorities.
• Support organizational change and technology implementations.
• Utilize intranet, email tools and platforms to distribute content.
