Coinbase is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Communications Manager to shape and own the internal communications strategy in a fast-paced, AI-native environment. You will partner directly with executives to tell compelling stories, drive change, and reinforce mission, strategy, and culture across a globally distributed workforce.

You will develop AI-powered systems to scale messaging, measure program effectiveness, and lead live company events.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in internal, external or corporate communications, media / journalism, or another writing intensive role.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, prioritizing clarity & brevity in all communications.
Well-developed executive presence, with experience partnering with senior executives on communications initiatives.
Experience using AI tools to accelerate and improve communications work with human oversight.
Resilience and grit in the face of rapid organizational change and shifting priorities.
Experience communicating to a highly distributed, remote workforce.
Extremely organized, adept at roadmapping and planning.
Able to think and do—generate ideas and implement them.
Balance speed and quality with focus on what matters most.
Enthusiasm for crypto and willingness to develop fluency in the space.

Responsibilities

Define and own the internal communications strategy for your portfolio of stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on messaging, approach, timing, etc
Ensure employees have the information and context they need to do their job.
Create and improve systems, including AI-powered tools and workflows, that scale communications across a globally distributed, remote workforce.
Measure the effectiveness of communications programs, leveraging data for continuous improvement
Develop a deep understanding of the company mission, strategy, and culture to reinforce in all communications.
Identify and implement AI-native approaches to internal communications, from content creation to measurement and feedback loops, at scale.
Support and execute org or company-wide live events (drafting talking points, advising on event flow, preparing speakers).
Partner with Internal & External Comms teams to drive proactive/reactive communications and coordinate internal issues management.
