Coinbase is seeking a strategic, motivated Internal Communications leader to partner with People Success, shaping how the CPO's vision reaches every employee through clear, timely, and compelling messaging.

You will build scalable processes, advise senior leaders on high-stakes moments, and own internal comms for the People Success team, driving engagement and trust in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in internal communications, strategic communications, change communications, or product marketing, with experience advising C-suite or VP-level leaders on high-stakes messaging.
• Proven track record producing executive-level content that drove measurable engagement or adoption outcomes, with strong writing and narrative development.
• Executive presence and interpersonal effectiveness, with the confidence to influence decisions and build trust with senior leaders.
• Ability to manage a broad portfolio across multiple senior stakeholders while maintaining a clear strategy.
• Experience building scalable communications processes, systems, and measurement frameworks from scratch.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated Internal Communications partner to the People Success team, owning communications strategy for People programs and company-wide rollouts with a business-first, product marketing orientation.
• Advise the CPO and senior People leaders on high-stakes moments, including org changes, policy shifts, leadership transitions, crafting messaging that is clear, human, and builds trust.
• Own internal communications for the People Success Team, including monthly town halls, leadership communications, and other resources that build team awareness, alignment, and culture.
• Write and edit content, including CPO comms, town hall scripts, company announcements, and FAQs, translating People programming into clear value propositions.
• Build scalable communications infrastructure, including editorial calendars, playbooks, measurement frameworks, and rhythms that support a growing People organization.
• Coordinate with broader Internal Communications team and cross-functional partners to ensure People messaging is well-timed and aligned with the company narrative.
• Build mature communications infrastructure and use data, employee insights, and AI-enabled workflows to measure impact, scale work, and continuously improve
