Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP seeks a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to craft clear, compelling internal communications for firmwide audiences and targeted groups. You will develop executive messages, partner with leadership, and guide communications during change initiatives with sensitivity and sound judgment.

Based across multiple offices, you’ll manage calendars, templates, and workflows, ensuring consistent writing quality, timely delivery, and measurable impact across the firm’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in a communications, marketing or related role.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and content development skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with firm leadership and colleagues.
• High discretion with confidential information.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and collaborative, focused on accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint, Vuture, InterAction or similar platforms preferred.
• Experience using communications metrics or analytics to evaluate effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and distribute clear, engaging internal communications for firmwide and targeted audiences.
• Develop executive and leadership communications, including announcements and presentations.
• Provide communications counsel to firm leaders and stakeholders on sensitive initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to develop plans, messaging and supporting materials for firm initiatives.
• Translate complex information into accessible messages to help employees understand key messages.
