AECOM is seeking an experienced Interior Architecture Senior Project Manager for our New York City office. The role leads design and construction initiatives, mentors project teams, and maintains strong client relationships across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate holds a professional architecture/interior design license, PMP is a plus, and brings a track record of managing large, complex interiors projects within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design with 8+ years of related experience.
• 10+ years of Architecture/Interior Design experience with project delivery and business development preferred.
• Professional registration in Architecture or Interior Design; PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and networking abilities in client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and leads technical staff in design and construction projects.
• Primary client contact and manages relationships with stakeholders.
• Delivers revenues from specific clients through flawless project execution.
• Manages portfolios of clients and multiple projects.
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and leads teams.
• Coordinates internal resources and external contractors for project execution.
• Monitors progress with detailed plans and manages scope, schedule, and costs.
• Identifies new business opportunities and supports marketing efforts.
