Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Design Manager to lead a design team, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality design development from concept through construction documentation. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external partners and ongoing FF&E oversight.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, at least 4 years in professional design and Revit, and strong leadership with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA or NAAB accredited institution in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4+ years of professional design experience.
• 4+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• Demonstrates proficiency in architectural drawings, concepts & design.
• Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be able to lead a team effort and delegate work to all team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design professionals from initial sketch through start of construction.
• Develop and manage team project timelines, budgets, standards, and resources.
• Support Project Designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Communicate and implement new processes and design standards within documentation.
• Ensure preliminary space plans meet safety, functionality, codes, and client needs.
• Review furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork selections to meet client requirements.
• Provide ongoing training on space planning, design, and FF&E services.
