Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Sr. Project Designer to lead the interior design of complex projects in a CRE setting. You will drive space planning, materials and FF&E decisions and collaborate with project teams to deliver documentation from concept to construction.

You will mentor junior designers, contribute to design reviews, and participate in client and consultant meetings while leveraging a broad FF&E vendor network and staying design-forward and technically accurate.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of design experience within the commercial real estate market.
• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA-accredited institution in Architecture, Interior Design or related field is preferred, or a related degree plus Interior Design Certification.
• Strong time management, communication and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to lead a design team and delegate work to enable independent progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design effort of complex projects.
• Support Project Designers in quality review of deliverables.
• On-board and train new Project Designers.
• Contribute knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, casework, furniture and lighting.
• Execute full design process from concept to construction documentation.
• Produce mood and design presentations independently or with minimal supervision.
• Participate in internal and consultant meetings.
• Provide rapid FF&E vendor knowledge to the team.
