Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Resource Officer to support the IC operations budget cycle. You will plan, justify, and execute client budgets, analyze programmatic and financial data, and interact with senior leadership.

The role requires extensive experience in federal budget processes, TS/SCI with Poly, and strong communication across organizational lines. This position is based in Herndon, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in government financial management, budget management, or resource management.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, formulation, justification, and execution of client budgets throughout the complete federal budget cycle.
• Manage Plans and Budget activities within the Intelligence Community to align resources with priorities.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain budget documentation and supporting materials.
• Monitor budget execution and analyze financial data to identify trends and resource challenges.
• Generate and submit RCAF for operations teams.
• Provide recommendations to address budget and resource management issues.
• Use COGNOS, BASIS, and ALM to support activities.
• Assist in developing financial road maps for a diverse operational cadre.
• Analyze programmatic data to identify key issues and insights for leadership.
