Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks a Senior Territory Manager to own a geographic region, driving profitable premium growth and managing 100+ agency storefronts. You will lead agency partnerships, develop strategies, and collaborate with underwriting, claims and risk control to optimize book quality.

The role requires six years of insurance sales/management, strong communication, and a proven revenue growth track record, with travel to partner agencies daily and some overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum six years of progressively more responsible insurance sales and management work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of company services, products, marketing techniques, insurance contracts, risk funding and rating plans.
• Proven track record of revenue growth and sales success.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages an assigned territory driving profitable growth and financial targets.
• Leads territory and agency management processes including prospecting, business planning, engagement, and training.
• Cultivates agency partnerships and serves as trusted advisor on product, underwriting philosophy, appetite and training.
• Executes high-quality agency strategies to achieve written premium, profit and new business goals.
• Ensures quality of new business flow and appropriate book mix across agency books and territory.
• Collaborates with underwriting, claims and risk control to leverage opportunities and address issues.
• Provides leadership and mentoring to team members and supports continuous improvement.
