Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a results-driven Senior Territory Manager to own a defined geographic territory. You will lead agency relationships, drive premium growth, and balance small commercial flow with mid-to-large account pursuit.

In this role, you will travel extensively to engage independent agents, leverage data analytics, and collaborate with underwriting and product teams to optimize profitability across a broad commercial portfolio.

• Proven experience managing agency relationships and driving profitable growth within commercial insurance.
• Strong consultative, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory for in-person agency engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage an assigned geographic territory, driving profitable growth and achieving written premium, profitability, and operational targets.
• Lead comprehensive agency management activities, including prospecting, business planning, engagement, training, compensation, and agency plant optimization.
• Manage a large and diverse agency footprint (100+ storefronts), optimizing performance across the territory.
• Develop, execute, and continuously refine agency and territory strategies aligned to enterprise priorities.
