Job summary

Coverys seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to plan and direct analysis of complex business problems solved with automated systems. You will collaborate with business partners, developers, testers, scrum leads, product owners, data teams and project managers to develop software specifications and validate outcomes.

You will lead requirements gathering, map processes, support UAT, ensure traceability, and mentor team members while navigating HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Five plus years related experience and/or training.
Experience within insurance industry, required.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze and document business and system requirements with strong skills in requirements decomposition.
Communicate changes that have downstream impact to systems/modules across teams to ensure awareness and alignment.
Independently facilitate stakeholder alignment across business and IT.
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications; maintain the specs document.
Drive and collaborate with testing teams to validate business and functional processes.
