Job summary

Coverys is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead analysis of complex insurance workflows and automated systems. You will partner with business and IT teams to craft software specs, manage requirements, and ensure successful delivery across 1–2 projects and multiple products.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and feedback-driven collaboration, with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment, testing, and training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a four-year college or university.
• Five+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience in the insurance industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business and system requirements.
• Communicate changes with downstream impact to systems/modules.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment across business and IT.
• Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Identify and document business needs, current procedures, data scope and security requirements.
• Ensure HIPAA and data privacy compliance in nonfunctional requirements.
• Translate needs into functional specifications and maintain them.
• Collaborate with Product owners to define acceptance criteria.
• Support testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain traceability from requirements through delivery.
• Assist with user training and documentation.
