Job summary

Coverys seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst in the United States to lead analysis on complex insurance systems and automated solutions. The role partners with business stakeholders, developers, testers and data teams to create software specifications, map processes and ensure regulatory alignment.

The ideal candidate has strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management and documentation skills, with experience in HIPAA, SDLC and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Elicits and documents business and system requirements with strong decomposition skills.
• Communicates downstream changes to ensure alignment and priority awareness.
• Facilitates stakeholder alignment across business and IT teams.
• Leads workshops and interviews to capture needs and objectives.
• Documents nonfunctional requirements including HIPAA and data privacy.
• Capable of process mapping, data analysis, wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience with Agile, backlog management and prioritization.
• Translates needs into functional/technical specs; owns specs document.
• Ensures traceability from requirements to delivery; supports testing.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and system requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate changes with downstream impact across teams and systems.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and workshops with business and IT.
• Develop functional specifications with developers and data engineers.
• Support UAT and validate outcomes against requirements.
• Maintain traceability and assist with post-implementation fixes.
