Job summary

Coverys, Inc. in Boston seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to drive complex problem analysis and translate needs into software specifications.

You will partner with business, IT, data teams and product owners to plan, document, and validate solutions across projects and products, including HIPAA and data privacy considerations. You will lead requirements gathering, manage scope and acceptance criteria, support UAT, ensure traceability, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; 3–5+ years related experience.
• Insurance industry experience preferred, underwriting workflows understanding preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SQL queries and automated testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business and system requirements with strong decomposition skills.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Lead requirements gathering and analysis with stakeholders and Product owners.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with business and IT teams.
• Support UAT and ensure traceability from requirements through delivery.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with developers and QA.
• Occasional overnight travel up to 10%.
