The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in business analysis within an insurance setting and excels at translating business needs into detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria while collaborating with Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Prior experience working within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance business processes and operational workflows.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and refining business and system requirements.
• Expertise translating business objectives into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting Agile software delivery teams.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with testing, requirements validation, and UAT activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to write and analyze SQL queries.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders and drive alignment.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support Agile delivery teams and participate in testing and UAT activities.
• Collaborate with business and technology groups to refine requirements.
