Business System Analyst With P&C Insurance

This role requires a strong BSA (individual contributor) with recent hands-on experience delivering API user stories for a client in the property and casualty insurance domain.

Role Overview:

• Support the Product Owner in defining user narratives and detailing requirements for the policy administration system.
• Gather and understand requirements from clients, users, and SMEs; translate requests into user stories and project documentation.
• Understand the end-to-end landscape architecture and collaborate with developers to find optimal solutions.
• Support system upgrades, testing, and coordinate releases with vendor partners.
• Ensure system changes align with business needs, create test plans, and support testing activities.
• Assist end users with issue resolution, update knowledge articles, and support infrastructure testing.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of system analysis & design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies, including writing user stories.
• Excellent communication skills, experience working with global teams.
• Ability to build organizational support and influence.
• Decision-making skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Solid understanding of commercial insurance, policy transactions, and lifecycle.
• Data modeling, SQL, data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Web-services, XML, JSON, API is a plus.
